Philadelphia, PA – The Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia today announced Kori Connelly has been named senior vice president and general counsel. She succeeds Jeanne Rentezelas, who became first vice president and chief operating officer in November 2023.

Connelly will lead the Philadelphia Fed’s Legal and Law Enforcement areas and serve as ethics officer.

Connelly joined the Bank in 2011 as assistant vice president and counsel, and she was promoted in 2018 to vice president and deputy general counsel. She previously worked as a partner at Swartz Campbell LLC, where she focused on employment and insurance-related matters.

The Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia helps formulate and implement monetary policy; supervises state member banks, bank holding companies, and savings and loan holding companies; and provides financial services to depository institutions and the federal government. It is one of the 12 regional Reserve Banks that, together with the Board of Governors in Washington, D.C., make up the Federal Reserve System.
